Restaurant Saaser-Stube - Open from 14 December 2020
The wooden ceiling and walls of the Saaser-Stube Restaurant are centuries old.
The wood was once used in an old grain store house. Now the aged larch gives breakfast and dinner a unique ambiance, having originated in the high mountain forests. Although it has been said that peasant stories whisper through its walls, your conversations remain confidential! Whether for breakfast, dinner or à la carte, the Old Saas-Fee Dining Room will enchant you.
The à la carte Restaurant is only open in winter!
One space, two worlds. Dark and light. Old and new. The enjoyment of the house specialities is also special - meat and cheese fondues.
Our meat fondue Alpenhexe is prepared like you have never experienced before. The meat is marinated in Alpenhexen spice with olive oil for 24 hours and then cooked in the broth. In addition we serve vegetables, mushrooms etc. A new Fondue Chinoise experience.
At least one cheese fondue belongs to a skiing holiday! You can also enjoy this in the cosy atmosphere of our Saaser Stube!
The "Saaser-Stube" has been attracting special attention for years and is one of the few houses still offering flambé service at the guest table. Flambéed beef filet "Voronow" according to an old recipe, flambéed lamb filet, flamb giant prawns, crêpes Suzette, double beef filet with sauce Béarnaise.
All flambéed dishes are served from 2 persons!
New is an "Original Wienerschnitzel" which is fried at the table on the menu.
